Costume in BINGATA dyeing.

Overview

This is a BINGATA-dyed summer costume with pine tree, bamboo, plum blossom, crane, mist and snowflake patterns on each side. These patterns are expressed on a white cotton cloth by using RYOMENZOME (two-sided dyeing). The birds that fly around mist and the snowflakes on bamboos are expressed in big patterns. By using muted colors including Persian blue, red purple and green, it gives elegance to the costume.
