Costume.

Overview

This unlined costume was made of ramie cloth. Deep blue-colored TATEYOKOGASURI (double ikat) was designed on the yellow-colored cloth. This TATEYOKOGASURI pattern is called MURUDUCCHIRII. It was formed in a geometrical pattern, which is one of the characteristics of KASURI in Okinawa. The costume has swinging sleeves, and it was worn by boys from the royal family.
