Lined Costume in BINGATA dyeing

This is a BINGATA-dyed winter costume for boys. The design depicts dragons facing each other across orbs along with auspicious clouds. This pattern, called HOUJU SOURYU MONYOU, was the symbol of the royal authority in modern Ryukyu, and it was used on the costumes of the royal family.
