Lined costume in BINGATA dyed.

Overview

The design depicts a large pattern of drooping peonies from mist, and long-tailed chickens fly among them on a yellow crepe silk. It is the symbolic color of the royal family. This is a lined costume, and red plain silk cloth was used for the lining. Since the costume has long sleeves, it is assumed to have been worn by boys who were related to the royal family.
