Costume in BINGATA dyeing

Overview

This is a BINGATA-dyeing summer costume for women. The patterns depicts red & green-colored flowing water, colorful red, yellow, green, blue and purple maple leaves on a CHOMAFU (white ramie cloth). Since Noh costumes have the similar pattern as this costume, it shows that it has the strong influence of the Japanese culture.
