Bodies of the bottles were made of tin, and lids and bodies of them were covered with glass beads. HIDARIMITSUDOMOEMON, the family emblem, and geometric patterns were expressed with beads. Kings used the bottles as a reward, and these were also used as part of the three ceremonial items (NUUMEUSURII) by combining a covered food box and gold and silver wares.
