This silver octagonal goblet is one of a sake set named NUUMEUSURII, and it was used along with a gold cup, a silver cup rinsing bowl and pair of bowls with stands at banquets that took place at a castle. The rim of the goblet was formed in octagonal-shaped, and chrysanthemum and peony patterns were inscribed on the body. There are 3 different sizes of goblets with stands.
