This pair of silver bowls with stands is one of a sake set named NUUMEUSURII, and it was used along with a gold cup, a silver cup rinsing bowl and silver octagonal goblets at banquets that took place at a castle. Stylized peony arabesque pattern which features flowers, leaves, stem and vines were inscribed all over on this bowls finely. Meanders were carved on the edge.
