Images Title
This is a BINGATA-dyed summer costume for boys. The design depicts refreshingly cool landscapes such as cranes playing near water, gabions (cylindrical wicker basket made from bamboo filled with stones) and hollyhocks. A pattern of scenery which cannot be seen in Okinawa is one of the characteristics of BINGATA-dyed costume that only high ranking people were allowed to wear.
