Overview

Square-shaped pattern of TATEYOKOGASURI (double ikat) were diagonally placed on a straight TATEJIMA (vertical striped pattern). The combination of KASURI and TATEJIMA is called AYANUNAAKA. 5 colors (vermilion, green, blue, white, and golden brown) were used for TATEJIMA, and vermilion was used for the square-shaped pattern. TATEJIMA and KASURI created a beautiful rhythm by the thoroughly-calculated layout.
