Lined costume.

Overview

This is a KASURI (ikat textile) winter costume for children. Big KASURI patterns called UDUNGARA were used in the costume for upper-class warrior families. These patterns were woven in green, vermillion, brown, black and others on a yellow-colored cloth. This is a lined costume with UDUNGARA on the outer material. It is a KASURI pattern for the royal family, and a plain silk was used for the lining. The bright yellow-colored cloth was dyed with turmeric.
