Overview

This is a summer costume for men. The accent colors of yellow, green and brown are applied in places on a light blue HANAKIKKOUTSUNAGIMON (pattern of turtle shell-shaped chains with flowers). According to Kamakura Yoshitarou, who researched the Sho royal family’s artifacts before the Battle of Okinawa, this costume was favored by the 19th king, Sho Tai.
