Costume in BINGATA dyeing.

This is a BINGATA-dyed costume which features pine trees, chrysanthemums, common reeds, bamboos, algae, shells, waves and boats. These patterns are expressed in light blue, red, yellow, purple and green on a white ramie cloth. RYOMENZOME (two-sided dyeing) was used for this costume. This is a summer outerwear called NCHANASHI, and it was worn without an obi belt.
